Original incunabula leaf from a late medieval legal work on canon law. On one side, the heading "De transactionibus" is clearly preserved. The section deals with questions concerning contracts, agreements, legal transactions, and their validity, particularly in connection with ecclesiastical legal relations and canon law proceedings. The Latin text is set in the dense format typical of scholarly legal prints and is accompanied by numerous legal references, glosses, and explanatory marginal notes. Numerous red initials, paragraph marks, and highlighted passages structure the text block and give the leaf the characteristic appearance of a late medieval early print.

On one side is the historical folio number "74". The rubrics are strongly preserved and form a beautiful contrast to the black print.

The leaf is in good condition for its age. The paper shows a distinct age-related toning as well as occasional spots and discolorations, particularly at the top and bottom edges. The actual text area is largely clean and completely preserved. The print is strong and clearly legible – see images.

An interesting and more than 500-year-old original leaf from the early period of European printing, suitable for collectors of incunabula, early prints, medieval canon law, legal history, and historical book art.
