412 pages with 5 plates and over 600 illustrations in the text, as well as six colored illustrations on five plates and a pattern sheet in a folder. The pattern sheet, including the folder, is no longer present.

The binding is decoratively designed and illustrated, printed in Fraktur script. The spine ends are visibly worn and show minor tears, the edges of the binding are scuffed, especially severely at the bottom front corner. The endpapers are missing. The back cover is inscribed and stained, the last page shows tears at the edges.
