Historical miniature book from the Second World War, published as part of the Second War Relief Fund for the German Red Cross. The small booklet is part of the five-part collection series "Des Führers Kampf" and documents German naval operations in 1939 and 1940 using contemporary black-and-white photographs and accompanying propaganda texts. The publication covers the deployment of the German navy during the early years of the Second World War. It focuses on warships, naval personnel, and military events of the naval war. The photographic depictions illustrate National Socialist war reporting and its propagandistic staging.

This copy has the original photographically designed cover with a red-bordered title field. The cover image shows Adolf Hitler inspecting a large warship. The red back cover bears the inscription "Second War Relief Fund for the German Red Cross". Age-related signs of use and storage, yellowing of the paper, rubbing, as well as minor creases and wear at the cover edges. The perforation on the back for attaching a carrying cord is present, but the cord itself is missing – see images.

A contemporary historical collectible on German naval history, the naval war from 1939 to 1945, the history of the German Red Cross, and the study of National Socialist war propaganda.
