Historical miniature booklet from the Nazi era, published on the occasion of the first Reich-wide collection drive of the Winterhilfswerk on October 14 and 15, 1939. The small booklet is part of the six-volume collector's series "Der Führer macht Geschichte", which documents the years 1933 to 1938 using contemporary photographs and propaganda texts. The present edition covers the year 1933, in particular Adolf Hitler's appointment as Reich Chancellor, the Nazi seizure of power, and the political changes in the German Reich. The cover photograph shows Adolf Hitler in contact with Reich President Paul von Hindenburg.

The copy has the original black-and-brown cover with a photographic cover image, as well as the imperial eagle on the back and the inscription "Winter-Hilfswerk des Deutschen Volkes". The original brown carrying cord is still present. Signs of wear and storage related to age, in particular rubbing, creases, slight browning of the paper, and wear at the cover edges. The black border area on the back shows visible creases and signs of abrasion – see images.

A contemporary historical collector's item on German history from 1933 to 1945, the history of the Winterhilfswerk, and the study of Nazi propaganda.
