Complete five-issue collector's series of historical miniature books from the Second World War, published on the occasion of the first Reich road collection of the 2nd Winterhilfswerk on 21 and 22 September 1940. The series "Des Führers Kampf im Osten" covers the German invasion of Poland in September 1939 as well as the political and military events associated with the beginning of the Second World War. All five issues are present and together form the complete collector's series. The publications contain contemporary black-and-white photographs, historical documentary images, and accompanying propaganda texts.

The individual issues cover the National Socialist portrayal of German-Polish relations, the political events before the outbreak of war, the course of the Polish campaign, and the subsequent German occupation policy. The series is a contemporary record of National Socialist war propaganda and documents how the German war of aggression was presented and justified to the public.

All five copies have their original photographically designed covers with blue title lettering and consecutive numbering from 1 to 5.

Age-related signs of use and storage, in particular browning of the paper, rubbing, creasing, and in some cases heavier wear at the edges of the covers. Issue 5 still has its black carrying cord. The other issues show varying signs of use – see images.

A complete historical collection for the military history of the Second World War, German-Polish history, the history of the Winterhilfswerk, and the academic study of National Socialist war and occupation propaganda.
